Verl's Money for the Laundromat in Tooele.

This photo shows the actual thousands of dollars that Uncle Verl Kroff gave to the Kroff family to purchase a large dry cleaning unit for our Laundromat in Tooele.  Those of you who know the story remember that Verl did not trust the banks and buried much of his money in paper bags in the ground around his home.  He just dug up one large bag and brought to the family! The front row is our dad, Eugene Kroff, Richard Kroff, and Paul Kroff.  The back row is Joel Kroff and Jerry Kroff.

Then & Now

Because I was the first grandchild of the Kroffs and the Cleggs, I have many many childhood pictures.  I only enclose a few here.

I wondered why I could not find more jr. & sr. high pictures until I found my card that I had to fill out to qualify later for Boys State about the activities I was in through school. I realized I was just toooo busy!

The activities in high school led to my receiving a scholarship.  While at  Tooele High School my tennis partner Dick Marshall and I took first place in the state as sophomores, juniors, and seniors.  I then played tennis for two years at BYU.

Marriage of Carol Hendricksen  & Robert Kroff was the summer after graduation 1956
